2. Which data we collect

We collect personal data only to the extent necessary to provide our service:

• Contract data: name, address, email, phone, company and details of the ordered service.
• Communication data: content of requests via contact form or email.
• Usage data: server log files with IP address, date/time, requested page and data volumes — stored for a maximum of 30 days, exclusively for operating the service and defending against attacks.

3. Purpose of processing

We process your data for:

• performance of the hosting contract;
• communication with you;
• compliance with legal obligations (accounting, retention periods).

4. Disclosure to third parties

Your data is only disclosed to third parties:

• to our technical infrastructure partner (Swiss data centre), as needed for service provision;
• in case of a .ch domain registration to the responsible registry and to our sister project registriert.ch for management;
• with your explicit consent or where required by law.

We do not sell data and do not use it for marketing beyond our own offering.

5. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. A simple email to info@prohost.ch is enough.

6. Cookies and tracking

The prohost.ch website uses only technically necessary cookies for session handling. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Changes

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if the legal or technical framework changes.
